Where to Find Amazing DIY Projects

You may be asking, where do I start? Here's a few tips to help you out.

Tip One: Go to Flea Markets and Yard Sales

You can find tons of awesome stuff here. Prices at Flea Markets remain fairly low because most of the things are used. Yard Sales bring interesting items that you may have never seen before. Even if you're just driving by, look around. One time I spotted an old Coca-Cola Machine. This just goes to show that buying things other people have used, is worth it. Also, try looking at Good Will. They have a gold mine at those stores.

Tip Two: Find Something of Your Style

If you really like antique pieces, don't settle for something sleek and modern. Find something in your area of expertise. If you are just starting out, start with something small. Try doing woodwork or picnic basket upgrades. Even a fresh coat of paint goes a long way. Once you find a project suited to your fitting, get started.

Tip Three: Head to a Local Craft Store

Go into a craft store with your mind free of thought. This helps you explore and find what you really want. Craft stores hold great things. It's a designer's paradise. Even a pattern can spark big interest into your design. Go out there and explore. You never know what you may find.

Tip Four: Plan Your Project and Get Started

Make a time plan for your projects. Bigger projects will take longer. The more you do, the more time it takes. You may want to decide on a specific weekend to do things because of your work schedule. Go with what works best for you and your family.

So what're you waiting for? GET GOING!!!
